Stockholm Fintech began in 2018 as Sthlm Fintech Week, an annual week long event to bring the fintech community in Sweden together. After five years of watching the event grow, and of seeing the demand of the community increase, the organisation now offers year round events and services.

Sthlm Fintech Week gained a reputation for being not only one of the largest fintech events in the Nordics, but also one of the friendliest. The conference brought the entire community together, from brand new start-ups to industry experts, and managed to create a deeply relevant and up-to-date agenda year after year.

Stockholm has always been a powerful hub for fintech, and the community has grown alongside Stockholm Fintech events for the past half decade. It was evident that there was both demand and space for events to engage the community throughout the year, and thus the Stockholm Fintech Meetups were born. These meetups take place once a month in locations across the city, keeping the community in touch with one another whilst showcasing fintech companies based in Stockholm.

But the Stockholm Fintech mission of community collaboration and knowledge sharing expands far beyond organising events. International delegations and a vault of contacts and connections means the organisation has a plethora of opportunities for all sizes of fintech companies working in Stockholm.
